BINARY PROJ-X

A Focus on the Applications of Natural Sciences and Technology

to the Development of Society and Human Sciences

This space is intended to promote, disseminate and make available material to those who seek a better understanding of mathematics and the general role of science and technology in the development of the ancient and modern world. The site is divided into two main sections.

The first is dedicated to topics of mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science and natural sciences. It is intended to include online material, classes, references, workshops, webinars, live sessions, podcasts, blogs and more. Material will cover interests ranging from elementary mathematics to subjects of interest to mathematicians, computer scientists, software engineers and the like. The main topics that will be discussed are Logic, Category Theory, Set Theory, Combinatorial Mathematics, Algebra, Real Analysis, Formal Languages, Foundations of Mathematics, Structuralism, Computable Operations, Foundations of Computer Science, Physics, among others.

The second section features material on social and human sciences. These will be discussed in the context of their modern relations to natural sciences and mathematics. Content will be diverse including show casing of mathematical art and workshops. Different artistic expressions that are algorithm based, computer generated, mathematical art, etc., will be accompanied with online courses and extra material. At the same time, this will also be a space for healthy discussion on modern day social-technical challenges, and solutions and context on these.

Bridging Art, Science and Technology

Mathematics is an art of thought and its main goal is to identify and make use of correct thinking. The mathematician, artist, makes an extraordinary effort to uphold Logic in every step. Logical thinking has provided fertile ground for sciences to flourish.

The study of mathematics has multiplied into a map of different types of mathematical systems, each with its own peculiarities and applications. All of these systems share the same foundations.

Attempts to find a universal foundation for all mathematics have appeared to be satisfactory, at first. With the passing of time, these foundations have been put to stricter test and cracks have been pointed out that seem to grow the more we look into the foundations of mathematics.

However, it is also true that in the cracks, something new can grow...

It is quite clear that there is a relative distance between social and natural sciences. However, most of the current large-scale crisis and challenges facing the global community are social-technical problems.

Meaning, these challenges are only to be understood in a broad context where social and natural sciences coexist in the study and eventual solution base of these.

Efficiency in solving such crisis as are present today, requires an approach that understands and balances the double-sided nature of these problems.

The site is currently under construction and content will soon be updated as per calendar events below. Production of  said material will, in large part, depend on your support. The research and all the material provided is of independent source and is not supported by any government, institution or private entity. That is why your support is greatly appreciated. For the sites initial release, a PRE-SALE event will be taking place. For a limited time, gain UNLIMITED access to EXCLUSIVE MATERIAL at a HUGE DISCOUNT. You can show your support by becoming a member and gaining access to exclusive material you will not find anywhere else. This includes courses and workshops that integrate mathematics, art and technology. Members will have access to courseware, seminars, articles, notes, references, community, art , merchandise, and much more!
